TRIP THE LIGHT FANTASTIC

In French Brittany
Avoir le pied léger
Near la Pointe de Roselier we came across this lone paraglider incessantly bobbing up and down like a fishing cork in water, all the while just a few meters above the ground. Extreme sports require practice.

Expression ... a "Knock, knock"  joke making the rounds in strike-plagued France this week:

Toc, toc...  Knock, knock...
Qui est là?  Who's there?  
Lara.  Lara.
Lara qui?  Lara who?
Lara Finerie est fermé.  (The refinerie is closed.)

There must be kilometers of wisteria or glycine langourously wound all around the city of Versailles. Of course it would...it thrives in full sun.
