Here's a French children's ditty or comptine fit for the season:

En automne, tout m'étonne.
En hiver, j'espère.
Au printemps, j'apprends.
L'été: j'aurais tout oublié!

In autumn, all amazes me.
In winter, I hope.
At spring, I learn.
Summer: I will have forgotten everything!
