Dinner time on a summer evening in Colmar's Petite Venise (Little Venice) when most of the tourists are off the streets and seated at tables. The beautiful Alsatian city which attracts more than 2 million tourists yearly, has a permanent population of about 68,000.

A beautiful photograph of a beautiful place. It is perhaps not widely known that Colmar is "twinned" with Princeton, New Jersey. The practical benefit of this relationship for Princetonians is that now and again on ceremonial occasions chefs from Colmar visit our restaurants and offer exhibition meals of Alsatian food. Yum, yum.
ReplyDeleteNice exchange for the sister cities!
