Des piments doux or sweet peppers fresh from Martinique. These have the same flavor as hot peppers, but without their intense spiciness, and are a favorite in Caribbean cuisine. The pepper is also known as "le piment végétarien" and is used as an alternative to the hot and spicy piment antillais.
